Is Arizona a good place to live for an immigrant somewhere from Asia?

By Arizona I mean anywhere in the state of Arizona. To be more specific, would Arizona be a good place to live for someone who's been LEGALLY immigrated to the United States of America and bought a ranch in Arizona. Are the people friendly and not racist towards the race or nationality the "person" that moved in is?
