What do i need to produce beats please help?

Ok i want to make rap/hip hop/rnb whatever i just want to make beats i can flow to but i cant find what i need i dont want to be told i need this and that i only want the importants of what i must need to make GOOD beats like what softwear or products etc please help itd mean a lot to me
