I dont no what else to do. I've been walking for 6 weeks now and eating 3 healthy meals a day wirh a fiber plus bar and greek yogurt for snacks. At night I have a weight watchers smart one desert cup. I'm trying so hard and nothing has happen. Am I eating to many calories or not enough?? Do I need to walk more? by exercising a a lot alone, I've toned my bust, waistline, arms and legs. and toned them. but i still have a little pooch too, and thats where you HAVE to start eating almost... perfectly. the pooch is the hardest :( lol and its the most unnatractive thing on me. so i've come to realize that if i cut out processed foods, it gets a little smaller. and getting rid of sugar makes it smaller too. drinking abouut 8 glasses of water gets rid of the pooch too. so even though it sucks, you kinda have to get rid of the diet soda and the ranch dressing. make the dressing red wine vinagarette or something, i dunno. or just have a crapload of fruit. I love to snack all day, unfortunately. but while the rest of me lost weight from exercsing, my pooch still haunted me. so those small foods are EXACTLY whats doing it.

Small pimple like rash?

So i have been at a ranch for the past couple of days doing long horse-rides for 2 to 3 hours at a time. Today, ive found small pimple like bumps of my butt ( i know it sounds like ive been "unclean") but ive had a shower every night and im sure to be clean. Anyways, it looks more like a bunch of little acne on my butt, which i have never gotten before and its in a way that it looks like a rash almost. But im thinking it might have something to do with that, but im not sure and im a little worried. Does anyone think they know what it could be? First of all, you need to make sure you do proper citations. EX: "I seen hundreds of men come by and every damn one of em’s got a little piece of land in their head’’ (Steinbeck). You have to be really careful with those, as teachers are quick to deduct points, and even report you for plagiarism. You need a better opening for your writing, as you have a very specific and lackluster beginning. I would write a paragraph that gives a brief summary, and add a thesis at the end of it. Make sure you underline "Of Mice and Men" throughout your piece. Try to avoid say "It shows" or "The author shows" as well. You could use more visual imagery, and more varied language throughout the writing. You use the word loneliness a lot. Although it's a crucial aspect in the book, adding synonyms would really spice it up. It has a really good start, you just need to clean it up and add some embellishments. Good luck!

Is a Baked potato a bad diet food?

I have been trying to loose some pounds and trying to eat healtheir, Before I would just eat french fries with lots of ranch dressing. But this time I baked a potato and put Salsa, Jalapinos and low fat cheese and some more tomatos becacuse I like them. We also had breaded baked fish, which I know the breading isn't great but I only had one serving wich was 210 calories for the fish. I don't know to much about ADHD but I know asthma can be life threatening especially when messing around with marijuana. So i want to do something with horses. I plan on going to college and looking at majors towards horse riding etc (no specifics yet). I come from a poorer californian. The thing is, your parents are right. Horses are a lot of money and I mean a lot. That 1500 in USD is barely going to cover anything. Horses can cost up to thousands of dollars in a year. Right now, they are putting out a lot of money towards your volleyball and while dropping volleyball would help, it wouldn't only be minimal. I would suggest continuing to ride at your grandfather's place while you save up money. Perhaps, have your parent's instead of putting the money towards volleyball they can set aside an account for you to save up for a horse.

Well to make a long story short I am in war and will be forever with all my husbands family. They never accepted me because I am american and they are mexicans. Mining degree is done now what?

So I am just finishing up my degree in my mining engineering, and I am looking at some alternatives to supplement my degree. I was thinking something along the lines of a certificate or diploma in computer science or computer information systems, which one would be better? I already have a certificate in business. First I was considering going back to school and finishing a diploma in electrical, but I don't know, would I waste too much of my time? I am getting to the stage in life where I am already behind people who are my age. A lot of my friends are set with careers, and I am just trying to start out, It depresses the hell out of me, and I have had a lot of sleepless nights. Maybe I am just complicating things too much, but I am just worried that what if later on in life, I don't have the opportunity to work closer to home, when family is more important. Please help. My cousin is in danger I think. I went over to her house to go swimming with her brother, because he is my age. My husband and I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga and we are now looking to purchase our first home in the Murrieta/Temecula area. How do I play these games I torrented?

Okay, so I've set up two games: Diablo 2 and Simcity 3000 Unlimited. But, I digress. I have a best guy friend who has just gotten out of a 15 yr relationship with a woman who did nothing but be unfaithful to him. He was feeling lonely so I hooked him up with another friend who was just his speed. They met and got along just fine. She has 2 children with a man who no longer is a part of their lives, and had she was also having a rough time with her current man because he was mentally making he crazy. He never told her she could move in with her kids or anything of that nature. He told me and she did confirm this to me directly herself also. In he move she ha he phone disconnected by the newly ex boyfriend, so my buddie gave her one as long as she would pay her half, and she agreed. For some ODD reason she started to get pissed off at my friend because he would not want to answer every single txt she sent him, and all she did was complain about the ex, or the father of the kids not paying child support. In the week that they first met she has slept over 3 times, and asked him to babysit for her, which being nice he did so she could get things from her last place without having to have two 3yr olds crawling up her butt the whole time. Then one day she was on her 16th txt in 1 hour and you could see the aggravation in my friends eyes. He has 2 daughters 7 and 12 yrs himself and he is a great father to them, but she was monopolizing all their time with her 2 kids to the point that he was having a hard time spending time with his own daughters. He did NOT like that at all. so he told her that after this first week maybe they could just slow down a bit, in which she replied she only left her last boyfriend for my friend and she went ape kaka on him. Come to find out her car, her medicine, almost everything she had was provided for her by the ex man, which I found out was the husband of the wife that took her childrens father away...what a mess that was and it explains why he, and his kids were so bad to her. My friend is now alone saying that she was bringing way to much baggage into a relationship that he somehow found himself in with her. I was wondering, is she crazy to think she could just move into his life in a week of first meeting? Is that normal? Was she what some people consider a psycho? That's right, you read it, Fabglitter. Instead of becoming confused at having an acronym for a community of people that can get up 20 letters long, we have this one word that pretty much sums it all up. Fabglitter. Just try and say that without smiling. Think about how much more awesome it will sound next time you come out if you use that instead. And trust me, it works--say Fabglitter enough and people will surely get the message. Now I understand that some members of our community are very butch and/or masculine. But just because glitter has been deemed "girly" doesn't mean you can't use it. We're all still VERY fabulous, after all! Perhaps an abbreviation is in order, such as just Fab? Parvo Virus help noticing if dog is cure and when it's alright for new dog?

Okay, currently there are 10 dogs here(house sitting for parents) mine, my sister, and my parents(they are on vacation-long story short). Any ways, somehow the dogs got parvo and didn't find out until 2 of my personal dogs died. Tried to keep my third dog alive and died, yet 1 of my sister and 2 of my mom's dog including her 2 month old puppy survived. Does my house have a cleanout?

My house was built in 1955 in New Carlisle, OH. It is a 3 bedroom ranch with all of the plumbing in one location. i am currently stuck between two headphones the ath-m50 and the hd598, money is not the problem . I want the headphones to have good bass, and be very good for movies, and songs(rap/hip hop). I am 20 years old, passionate about social change & having trouble in university; what can I do with my life?

I'm nearly 20. I lived on campus at two different colleges and withdrew from both because in both cases I became very, very depressed. After taking nearly a year off to focus on reflection and therapy for my depression, I went to a regional campus of a state university. And although I went full time and took pre med classes, (Yes, my classes were comparable to a large university, because we would get essay and extended math questions, while the large campus students always had multiple choice.) I nailed a 4.0, which, is pretty awesome for having ridiculously hard professors in lab. Anyone who's had lab realizes that you get 12 credit hour for lab, but the class is at least 3-4 hours, and you spend around 12 hours + a week outside of school doing work just for the lab. Anyway, I digress. What I am trying to say is that I can get through college. Sadly, I became super depressed this semester. I took the necessary steps to gain my composure to at least pass the semester with C's. I continued seeing a therapist and psychiatrist and over my spring break, I volunteered in a big city so that I could experience something beyond myself. Unfortunately, I continued to crash. Now it is finals week, I'm working on a withdrawal or incompletes for medical reasons, and I can hardly make it out of the house. My town and university do not help my depression. I am passionate about volunteering and social issues, and doing that is what makes me happy, but I still need an education. I was that perfect student in high school who always went above and beyond because I wanted to make a positive impact in the world. Right now, I'm focusing on the small things, like making it through a semester of college, but clearly college isn't working well for me right now. I tried working a minimum wage job a few years ago, but I would get in trouble with the manager a lot for not doing well. I worked my butt off, yet I had major anxiety, so I would "mess-up" a lot. I thought about the Peace Corps, but I am not psychologically and physically healthy enough for that right now, and it would be best if I got a bachelor's degree first. I'd love to travel across the world, living out of a backpack, but my family lives pay check to pay check and I have student loans. If I leave college full time, I will lose my health insurance, which I use a lot, and I will have to start paying on my loans. I'm in the middle of a very serious existential crisis. (I hope to start volunteering over the summer to help with that.) I know that this question rambles on very horribly, but I am truly at a loss of what to do. I've tried sucking it up and finishing college, but I become further depressed. I want to experience the world and help people, which is hard to do without a degree. I suck at minimum wage jobs, which are not enough to support myself and pay back my student loans, and they do not give health insurance. That's such a tempting situation, but you've definitely got valid concerns... Personally, I'd be most worried about a sudden emergency. If your parents wouldn't help out, and you don't have a bunch of money stashed away, you would be stuck in a really bad situation. Have you taken the cost of grain and hay into account too? If you don't already have one, you'd probably want to get a job for the vet, farrier, feed, potential board if you chose the $40-60 a month (what a find, closest barn to me is $1,000), and even save up for potential emergency vet bills... Then a job, school, and regular horse duties seems like a LOT to handle. It's definitely tempting, and maybe you are an amazingly disciplined person with great time management skills, but from an outside view that seems like a pretty challenging situation.

Crowds annoy the hell out of me, and I do not like going a lot of places here, because of all the people. This town used to be nice, but it has been overtaken by everyone. I get annoyed in traffic, in stores, restaurants, etc. What has happened to me? I used to be so layed back. I grew up on a quiet ranch in the country. When to worry about a bug bite?

I BET that apartment complex is infested with bed bugs,and/or termites. Bed bug bug bites can be as u describe, and some people don't itch, though many do, just keep em clean, and it will take a while for them to go away, if it was some random bed bugs, or termites..use alchohol on em, or calimine lotion. But..if u get a fever, wich I doubt,since it's already been a few days, or if they get worse...see the Dr., but I bet u will be just fine. Sucks,though, but it could be worse!

Can I make vegan ranch dip by blending silken tofu with vegan ranch dressing?

I am severely allergic to cow's milk. I found some bottled vegan ranch dressing and I want to make vegan ranch dip for a party. Can I take the dressing and blend in some silken tofu to make it thicker? Do you think the tofu would weaken the flavors enough that I would need to add more spices? Thanks!!

What can I do to make him move?

I dont want to just come out and say get out now! He is living in my shed/mini house without mine or my wifes permission. Our landlord (a friend) said he could because the sheds are her property. Well we are handling that situation by talking to the landlord. We told her it wasnt ok but she isnt going to make him leave. So what can my wife and I do to make him want to move. My recently turned 16 y/o daughter is pregnant. Advise?

This is a long story. I am 37 y/o father of 3 girls at 8, 12 and 16 y/o. My ex-wife moved to Maine I think and left the kids with me. I hasn't been easy but I have managed with the over the top help of my fiance, who has a 15 y/o daughter of her own (her father passed a couple years ago). So I try to help as much as I can to be a father figure without stepping on any toes. It is always a very delicate situation in my home. This should go without saying but, I have not brought up many other things like cramped quarters, budget and often thinly stretched patience or lack of hours in a day. Did I mention the cramped quarters? Now, onto my point or need for advise if you will. I had started to have the safe sex talk with my daughter about a year back when she was new to being 15 year old. More recently, as in 3 months back, she turned 16 and I gloated as I started teaching her to drive on her brand new restricted permit, I glowed as a father as I started to take her around and fill out job applications for her 1st job. I must admit I wanted to get her a job primarily to curve her interests away from "the wrong" group of friends and her awful boyfriend whom is currently 15 and on probation after his juvenile detention stint with court required "membership" at Southwest Florida Addiction Services (SWFAS) for alcohol problems. Don't get me started on his failed excuse of a family, mom/aunt with addition problems and another 3 y/o child that she can't care for, his nonexistent father and so on, you see where I am coming from and I am sure you know what type of behavior you get from a boy like this. Late phone calls, being at my home when I get home from work and again so on and so forth. My method of getting her away from this was starting to work as she had been broken up from him for weeks from what I heard. Daughters don't feed to much info to dads. So I felt lucky to have 'heard' that news. I digress. My ex-wife used to live near here, before leaving the girls with me and bolting a couple months back. She also used to have weekend custody as she could not handle any more responsibility. Then all stopped.... I'm not told, however yet again i 'hear' my 16 y/o daughter is pregnant by none other than... you guessed it. I have been unable to hide how adamantly opposed to her having a baby. This also was working in my favor until "supermom" shows up. Now my daughter wants to have the baby, is angry at me for not showing "support" and wants to go live with her mom's mom (grandma) who has supposedly offered to take care of everything. Her mom is not staying here and will be going back up north but somehow has become the supportive one. None of the above have bothered to call me and discuss anything even after numerous attempts on my behalf to contact them. This is going to be a bad situation for all involved including the newborn but, especially my daughter, my other children, my fiance and her daughter. I'm thinking the best option is to let her live with grandma while I turn into a 'visiting' father which I have never seen myself as. Wondering how that will work out on my responsibilities as i have to consider releasing all control of this. Things like cell phone use I pay for but can no longer Monitor use of, her curfew, well being, the health insurance I will be receiving $1000 detectable bills for, etc. right down to things like breaking the law with damages I have to pay for or live with because she is a minor. I feel like I am holding onto a string of hope when i think adoption. The law protects my 1/6 y/o's pregnancy and I have no say what so ever. I know her better than anyone and I know she's not ready for this. We are not ready for this. I still have kids of my own to raise. I don't know what to do. Please don't leave any advise if you are a 15-19 pregnant girl/new mom, trust me you don't understand. If i wanted your advise i would ask my daughter who would/has told me "be supportive" and "happy for me" in a text. If i have a caller name, like Sleepless in Seattle mine would be F**ked in Florida. Any help?

I have a research essay (persuasive) that is asking whether or not we should extend school years or not. The deal is that other countries are getting higher test scores than us on things like the SAT and this could possible be due to the fact that most international schools are completely year-round. As a student, I personally, think that this would be a good change. But other factors you must consider in your opinion is that many international schools are not free to everyone, like ours are...well, free in a sense, I suppose. He's a great lyricist, for sure. All his albums are pretty good, except for C: True Hollywood Stories and Can-I-bus. I would say his best album is Rip the Jacker, although 2000 B.C. and Mic Club: the Curriculum are both very solid efforts as well. Black Ops is glitched on my PS3?

Help! My Black Ops is glitched! The campaign dialogue isn't working until i play a little bit into the game. And it repeats the same thing. same thing with the guns. My gun turns invisible, but i can shoot it though. The music also does a continuous loop then stops when playing. In zombies, Dead Ops works fine. Five is glitched. When my guy is supposed to talk, he doesn't talk until into play into the game and it repeats the same thing. Eventually it stops, but like 15 minutes later! There are lots of colorful boxes all over the table at the spawn to. And In Kino Der Toten, the game freezes about when Richthofen says "But i digress" on the loading screen. The game freezes for a moment, then Richthofen Continues talking and when hes done talking, the game completely freezes. I have to take out the disk or restart the game to do anything else. also, during the time of the short freeze when Richthofen stops talking for like 2 seconds, the spinning Call of Duty and Treyarch spinning thing stops to. The orange light under the ps3 disk slot also stops blinking (its supposed to blink when the ps3 is loading stuff) Some times it takes 3 minutes for multi player to load when it spoused to take like 15 seconds. Please help! Anything to make Kino playable again will be great. By the way, the disk has only 1 tiny scratch and is spotless.

These are the characteristics that my mother said make me neurotic?

(Im a teen) I am OCD. But only about certain things. Some more than others. I am anxious and stress about everything. I get very hysterical. One time my mom told mr i couldnt stay out as late as i wanted to and i got on the floor and threw a tantrum and couldnt control myself. I havr irrational fears. Many of them. I have wierd prefrences. When i unload the dishwasher i have to wait a certain amount of time after the dry cycle to do it because A) i dont like when the dishes are still warm when i put them up and B) if i dont wait long enough, the glass dishes still have this wierd waxy feeling and it makes me cringe to touch them. I have wierd preferences about my food. I like broccoli. If its raw i only eat it with ranch. If its cooked ill eat it with cheese. but not shredded cheese. it has to be liquid ragu cheese. sometimes i will eat broccoli if its cooked in a dish. I am paranoid. I have mild hypochondria (i cant spell it). Im intrigued by fire. People tell me im pessimistic but i think im realistic. I could name a few more but this is getting a bit long. Well according to my mother, these traits make me neurotic. I dont really understand what neurotic is. So am i neurotic?

My mom says I'm autistic?

I mean, I'm pretty sure I'm not. I was never tested or anything like that. (Though she made me really paranoid so I took that AQ test online and scored 14? The average is 16.4 and most autistic people scored over 32?) Anyway, I'm sure I have all kinds of mental issues (I am pretty sure I am either depressed or bipolar, I used to self-injure on a regular basis; the last time was a few months ago.) I am on the computer a LOT, I do obsess about some things like I love musicals and Broadway and a bunch of actresses. I don't have a lot of friends but I like social situations, but I also like going to the library. I just don't think my mom gets me. I find her very frustrating, and I'm sure she finds me frustrating too, but she also likes to stir up random drama and believes a lot of what she sees and hears. She was just watching something online about autism, and that's when she came into my room and was like, "You're autistic!" I'm already an emotional person I think and have a lot of insecurities which I don't really show but my mom makes them come out when she says things like that to me. She puts me down on a regular basis, judging me on my appearance, especially my weight (I'm overweight but I am not obese. I am 5'3" and around 165 pounds.) I have nystagmus, which I am not as insecure about as I was when I was younger, but once my mom makes me question myself it really upsets me.
