Is it illegal to put out a 19 year old with no ID?
Okay, so I know this girl, NOT ME ... not me at all *coughs* and her mothers' threatening to put her out if she doesn't get a job or her boyfriend to help pay bills. Her boyfriend isn't from American and where he lives a man isn't a piggy bank.. If he's going to help her with paying for anything it's because he cares about her, not because her mom demands it. (Naturally mother and boyfriend can't stand each other.) Mom says if he won't do as she demands, then the two of them can pretty much say goodbye to each other because she'll make sure they never get a chance to be together again.. She also says the daughter has to get a job, as I said BUT the daughter doesn't even have an ID.. Why? Because years ago Mom lost her Social Security Card, and without that you can't get ID and blah blah blah technical stuff digressing from the point. So if girl doesn't get job, mother says she's putting her out. Would the mother be able to do that legally? If the child is 19 but with no real proof aside from a birth certificate, that she's even existing can she be put out? Note: Mother's also inclined to getting Physically violent if she doesn't get her way... Not saying she's done it before, but I don't put it past her to do .. Could she get in trouble for that?.. I know this entire situation is bizarre and I'd say more but even what I've said so far is really private, it's just she's a single mom paying more bills than she's got money to handle, and now that she's desperate she's turning to whoever she can to get money, even if it means threatening her oldest daughter.. I just want to know what could happen legally here.. I want to make sure I know my rights so to speak..
