Mining degree is done now what?

So I am just finishing up my degree in my mining engineering, and I am looking at some alternatives to supplement my degree. I was thinking something along the lines of a certificate or diploma in computer science or computer information systems, which one would be better? I already have a certificate in business. First I was considering going back to school and finishing a diploma in electrical, but I don't know, would I waste too much of my time? I am getting to the stage in life where I am already behind people who are my age. A lot of my friends are set with careers, and I am just trying to start out, It depresses the hell out of me, and I have had a lot of sleepless nights. Maybe I am just complicating things too much, but I am just worried that what if later on in life, I don't have the opportunity to work closer to home, when family is more important. But, sorry for digressing, it would be appreciated if someone could answer my original question. Thanks.
