Best all around car audio system?

I listen to all types of music. Dubstep, rap, metal, DnB and more but I want to get a nice system in my car that sounds good all around. I would like subs but don't want overpowering bass in rock songs. I would like to spend under $950 for the system but can afford a more expensive one, I'm also saving up for an exhaust system and a cold air intake so I have to be somewhat economical but don't want mega-store cereal box crap.
