Why do some atheists refer to God as your God?

"God does not belong to me- I belong to him. So he is not just my God. God is accessible to anyone on this Earth." Good point - now let's agree that this god you speak of is not the god of the Bible - and we're all on the same page. Christianity is not the one, true religion on earth.
