How much is the start up cost of a ten gallon aquarium?

I am thinking of starting up my own little aquarium. I have previously had Betta's and it was a good experience for me. I am no stranger to having pets. I currently am the loving "parent" (cause owner isn't a word I like to use, I'm not loco either) of two dogs. I digress, I want to start saving money for that aquarium soon. I have plenty of room for all of it and I'm excited. I was wondering what the typical start up costs are. If it isn't too bad I'll go for it but otherwise I might just adopt a hamster or a Guinea Pig. Thank you for your time!
