Why do Christians label meditation as evil or new age, why are the vibrations also labeled evil?

I think your making a mountain out of a mole hill, afterall i would class praying as a kind of meditation... its time spend reflecting and thinking in a relaxed way, the only difference is that its centred towards someone outside of yourself where as QiGong meditation is centred inward and reflecting on inner peace and worship.
