Do you like Cataclysm?

First off, no fan-boys please. Second, lemme give ya some of my background with WoW. I have played since early TBC, never played vanilla, so comparisons to that have no effect on me. I quit about 3 months before Cata because I couldn't stand to see the world I loved turned into California after the great quake of 1906. Despite what everyone says, Blizzard had a great world and there was no need to revamp everything (this is my opinion remember and I want to know yours, so let's be civil when you eventually flame me :D). Personally, I would have just made the maelstrom accessible and put larger islands there as well. Also, I would have liked it if they forced people out of the goddamned cites! I always felt alone questing unless my friends were with me because of lack of people actually questing. There were always more people in instances then the open world of WoW which is really incredible. Some zones became dead because no one even bothered going there, like Azhara for example. I think they really should have attempted to bring back the old world pvp WoW was famous for from Vanilla (which I heard, never experienced) and from the days of TBC. Now from what I've seen and heard from reliable friends and sources, is that you are just herded along the grind path without experiencing the world because lower levels aren't as immersive as they once were. What I mean by this is that once, you saw the destination, but experienced and loved the journey. You leveled slow enough so that when you got tired of the grind, you screwed around the open world with your friends, which seems to just not exist anymore. These are my main problems that seem to not have been fixed in this expansion. Instead, apparently, they have just added compact zones, reskinned WoW, and completely F***ed with the stats in order to make it seem like they did something. But I digress, I have no experience of Cataclysm, so I'm asking you the question here. I don't know what it's actually like so I can't truly criticize it. So, under this long *** rant that I was dying to get out of my system is this, is WoW worth heading back into? Is it really just some new skins, quests, and stats? Or perhaps there is more? I would like to ask a broader community then my circle of friends.
